Description
My family is originally from Cappadocia (a famous region in Nevsehir, Turkey). Before moving back to Turkey, I have studied and worked in the U.S. for 13 years. That's how I started gaining my own culture exchange experience and eventually get to host people from all over the world.
I'd like to introduce Turkish culture to guests who travel to Turkey. Also as I have lived in both Istanbul and Cappadocia, there are many tips I have written to inform my friends who come to Cappadocia to visit. My mission is to help the hotel guests to get accurate information and to help them have the best experience possible in Cappadocia.
Currently, I am looking for a person who can help us improve our garden by making a simple wood door.

You will stay at our property and be part of our family. We will invite you to our family gatherings and friend gatherings so you can be immersed in the Turkish culture. You will be able to taste local Turkish cuisine.
Our property is in the central of Cappadocia, and is so close to hiking trails in the valley, so if you are big in nature, this would be a great place for you to enjoy. In addition, it is only within 10 minutes walking to town, so you'll have easy access to local groceries, restaurants, and coffeeshops.
Since I am fluent in both English and Turkish, you can get accurate answers of any questions you have regarding Turkish culture.

The help is flexible, the main purpose is culture exchange but my main mission is for guests to learn useful information about Cappadocia. My priority is to improve our garden so we are looking for a person who is good at carpentry if possible to make a garden door.

A bed is provided and you are free to use common areas like bathrooms/kitchen/ and terrace.
It is extreme important that you clean after yourself (bathroom and kitchen especially) and leave the room in clean and organized order since we all live in this property together.

Cappadocia is a beautiful place for outdoor activities: hiking, ATV, Horse riding, sign seeing, photo taking, balloon scenery. There are plenty to do and you will never be bored if you are an outdoor person.

This was my first workaway and I couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience. The work is simple and fun and gives you the opportunity to meet other travellers as well as actual folks from the area. Couldn’t ask for a better place as my first workaway experience. Oktay is a very nice person, always ready to help you to get the most of your experience. The task he asks for were not heavy and easy to do. Definitely recommend he and his place to any workawayer.
